To whom it may concern:
This recommendation is in regard to Terry Massey and his programs ability to instantly affect the overall morale and efficiency of my staff in ways that I never imagined.
When first approached by Mr. Massey I was somewhat skeptical of his approach and the projected results of his program. Our company has an in-house staff of approximately ninety (90) personnel; there are an additional three hundred (300) sales and administrative staff in the field. We operate one of the Midwest’s largest private travel agencies with travel revenues exceeding $100M annually. We first ask Mr. Massey to speak with one of our Sales Offices in Phoenix. We felt the results there would be easier to quantify. Literally within hours of his seminar we were able to see an improvement in our Arizona office. Their attitude, their demeanor towards the prospective clients and a visible increase in the ‘team’ concept. It didn’t stop there; we saw increased sales, increased team building and whenever faced with a customer service issue it was handled in a manner that diametrically opposed previous actions. In short we were quite pleased and candidly, quite surprised. We didn’t think we had a problem, we thought we were on top of our game.
It was shortly thereafter that we decided (at his suggestion) to bring Mr. Massey to our Chicago area headquarters. His focus this time was with ‘non-sales’ personnel, primarily the administrative staff. Again we saw attitudes, morale, team building and a basic ‘glad to be here attitude’. This resulted in a noticeable increase in productivity. We saw certain individuals joining in, helping other employees where prior to this they would perform their duties to the accepted levels and not an inch more. Coupled with his work with the field we saw a dramatic decrease in the typical ‘blame game’. This is where the field blames the corporate personnel for shortcomings and the corporate personnel reciprocate with a finger pointed at the field. The team concept was created within days of both seminars.
Mr. Massey has now produced his seminar for all of our sales offices and at our request he has written a training manual that we use with every new employee. He created a culture where none existed before. We see his CD’s in use at our offices on a daily basis. He will be our keynote speaker at our convention this fall.
